If you are sending newsletter regularly, you always put a link in your template to named “To unsubscribe from this mailing link – click here” such that user can unsubscribe himself by following the unsubscribe link. A new header is introduced to have this facility on header.

So if you put the unsubscribe header on your mail, you unsubscribe button will be appeared on the email. All mail client doesn’t support this feature, i saw this already in gmail and hotmail. Hope other client will support this soon. You have to add lis-unsubscribe header with a mailto link for unscribe email, along with unsubscribe link to your site – see the following example –

“Although OpenSUSE is not one of my primary distros I’m still excited for today’s OpenSUSE 11.2 release. This is because many new features and improvements have been implemented into the OpenSUSE 11.2 release which is available as KDE or GNOME live CD versions. A few specific improvements that I am looking forward to include KDE 4.3 which is suppose to feature closer integration with Firefox and OpenOffice.org applications. I’m not the biggest KDE fan but some distros definitely do it better than others and KDE is starting to grow on me. GNOME, which I am a fan of, version 2.28 is included with this OpenSUSE 11.2 release which has a new theme, software update improvements, and other features.”beginlinux.wordpress.com

“Here are some tips for working in the shell that I use on a daily basis. These may be known to most veterans, please contribute your favorite shortcuts to the comments. But for the most part this is not for the uber leet Linux geek, this is for those new to the terminal.

TAB
- Gives you suggestions / completes stuff for you. Type a, Press it twice, it will make your life a lot easier.

ctrl+w
- Remove word behind cursor.

ctrl+u
- Undo / Erase everything from cursor to beginning of the line

!!
- Type out whatever you typed out last, can be combined with tools like sudo

alt+f
- Go forward to the end of the previous word

alt+b
- Move cursor back to the beginning of the previous word

ctrl+d
- You’re done? Press ctrl+d to logout. If you’re in a virtual terminal, it may also close the window.

ctrl+z
- Stop the current process. Say you run gvim, and then you want to spawn another process. Press ctrl+z, then type bg. Once you’re done with the “other” process, you may type fg to bring it back into the forground.”thelinuxblog.com
